As a wedding photographer, I've seen a lot of Photo Booths. I have always felt that they are a fun addition to any wedding celebration because they allow guests to be in control of their photo experience which helps many people feel comfortable and willing to be their more authentic, glamorous, or silly selves.

However, there is one huge issue with the Photo Booths I've seen–

–the aesthetics.

As an artist and someone who values visual cohesion, I longed for a Photo Booth that was inviting, warm and elegant rather than techy and obtrusive.

Enter–Awake Photo Booth.

Thoughtfully designed and custom built by hand, this booth hides unsightly cords, printers and flash umbrellas that you would usually see on a booth that offers a similar quality of images and prints.

It’s obvious that the Awake Photo Booth is a statement piece; but it will also look right at home in most venues. It’s easily dressed up or down, and can be decorated to match your vibe and vision.

This booth is an open air photo booth, meaning that your guests will stand a few feet back from the camera and in front of a backdrop rather than going inside of the booth itself. 

This set up allows for more customization as well as the ability to comfortably fit more than two people into one photo for maximum fun and controlled chaos (we know those crazy group shots are the best!)

The booth is comprised of a DSLR camera, professional grade flash, and an iPad as the screen. The camera and flash ensure that the photos you get from your booth rental will be high quality, and your guests will look their best.

What dimension are the prints?

The booth requires at least 10x10 ft of floor space and 8 ft clearnance. 

The ground should be as level as possible. A power outlet should be within 30 ft. Indoors is preferable, but a sheltered outdoor area out of the direct sun, wind and rain would work. 

We don’t offer props. We believe your guests personalities will come through more authentically without the use of props. However, if you want props you are welcome to provide your own!

Your photos will be available in real time in an online gallery so you’ll have them right away.

Prints can be done as one 4x6 or as two 2x6 prints, but you’ll have to choose which one you want ahead of time. We can’t change the format mid event. Guests can print multiple copies of their photos if they want.
